Here's exactly what happens on the call.
The call is 20–30 minutes. We'll start by asking about your trip — when you're thinking of going, who's coming, what matters most. Then we'll share specific, honest thoughts about what's possible given your timeline, preferences, and budget.
- ✓You'll leave with clarity. Most people end the call knowing more about Costa Rica than they did after hours of research.
- ✓No hard sell. If our planning package makes sense for your trip, we'll explain it. If it doesn't, we'll tell you that too.
- ✓Honest advice first. We've turned down bookings because the fit wasn't right — we're proud of that.

Not required — just helpful:
- Rough travel dates or a general timeframe (e.g., "sometime in February")
- Who's coming with you and any relevant details (ages of kids, mobility considerations)
- Your honest ballpark budget for the trip (total, not per person)
- Any destinations or experiences you've already heard about and are curious about
- Any concerns or questions you're hoping we can answer

What if I don't know where in Costa Rica I want to go yet?+
That's exactly what the call is for. Most people arrive with a vague idea and leave with a clear region, a rough itinerary shape, and an understanding of what to expect at different times of year. Not knowing is fine.
What if my dates are far out?+
We work with clients as far as 12 months in advance. Earlier is often better for accommodation availability and to lock in partner rates. There's no penalty for planning ahead.
Do I have to commit to the planning package on the call?+
No. You can take time after the call to decide. We'll follow up with a brief summary email and the option to move forward when you're ready.
Can I bring my partner or family to the call?+
Yes — and for family or couples trips, it often helps. Having the key decision-makers on the call means we don't have to play telephone afterward.
Is the consultation really free?+
Yes. No catch. We invest in the consultation because we believe that if we can show you what we know in 20 minutes, the decision to work with us is easy. We don't need pressure tactics.
After the call — what happens next.
